TRIPSETTER offers you the most convenient pick-up locations and routes. Each route has a separate, dedicated motor coach.  Motor coaches will have a staggered schedule for each tour.

Parking Notice: Please obey parking signs and regulations. TRIPSETTER is not responsible for any parking infractions incurred.
Pick-Up Times: Between 8:30 am – 9:30 am (approximately). Ten days prior to departure, you will be notified of your confirmed pick-up time at your pick-up location.
Pick-up locations and times are subject to change.  Minimum number of people required at each location to guarantee a pick-up. In case of cancellation, full refunds will be provided.
Routes may be combined to reach minimum number of people for the tour.  TRIPSETTER has the right to cancel a pick-up location, route or tour due to insufficient number of passengers.

Booking and Payment

All day-trip prices are in Canadian dollars, and include transportation by motor coach, meal, admissions, meal and escort gratuities and all taxes (unless otherwise specified).
  • RESERVE: Contact TRIPSETTER by either telephone, email or in person to book your tour and to register each person with whom you will be travelling.
  • PAYMENT TYPE: Forward full payment by either cheque or money order. Credit card payments available by phone.
  • PAYMENT DATE: Please use the date you made your reservation. “Post-dated” cheques are acceptable and need to be dated either 10 days prior to trip date or 30 days prior to a “theatre” trip.
  • NAMES: Print on the back of your payment the names of each person the payment is for, the tour name and tour date.
  • PAYABLE: To “TRIPSETTER INC.”
  • GUARANTEED: Bookings are only guaranteed when full-payment is received by TRIPSETTER.
  • RECEIPT: Once payment is received, a receipt and “Boarding Pass” will be forwarded by mail or email. Please present your “Boarding Pass” to the Escort prior to boarding the coach. If you do not have your “Boarding Pass” the Escort will check your name against the paid passenger list.

Insurance

Cancellation, interruption, health or baggage insurance are neither included in the cost nor on day-trips, overnights and on luxury cruises.

Refunds and Cancellations

Full-refunds provided when cancellation is made 11 days and more prior to day-trips, and more than 31 days prior to theatre trips, less $10.00 service charge per person cancellation. Payments are fully non-refundable when cancelled within 10 days prior to a day-trip and within 30 days prior to a theatre trip.

TRIPSETTER reserves the right to cancel a scheduled tour prior to the departure date if the minimum number of registered people is not met. TRIPSETTER will fully-refund all monies if it cancels a tour.

THEATRE TRIPS”: Are any day-trip that includes an attraction or performance with pre-paid ticket (ie, Stratford or Shaw Festivals, concerts, plays, etc.).

N.S.F CHEQUES: A $25.00 service charge will be applied for each N.S.F. cheque or returned cheque.

According to the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO), no price increases once final payment is made. Yet, if the total price of the travel services is increased and the cumulative increase, except an increase resulting from an increase in retail sales tax or federal tax, is more than 7 per cent, the customer has the right to cancel the contract and obtain a full refund.

Seating

Coach seating is pre-assigned and based on date payment received.  Upon boarding the coach, the escort will inform you of your seat number/location.  Seat requests are welcomed at time of booking. TRIPSETTER will do its best to accommodate requests.

Assistive Devices

Passengers who will travel with an “assistive device” (ie, walkers, wheelchairs) are required to notify TRIPSETTER at time of booking.  Individuals that have difficulty traveling alone may require to travel with a companion who can assist them as the escort will be occupied with the needs of the group.

Identification

Tours crossing into the Canadian – USA border require each person to carry a valid passport.  Non-Canadians are required to notify TRIPSETTER at time of booking of their passport status, and will be advised of any visa or documentation requirements to cross the border.  All costs (ie, visas, documents, etc) and required documentation is the responsibility of the traveler and to ensure that they have the appropriate travel documentation.  If one is detained at the border for any reason, the person will be solely responsible for all costs and arrangements incurred at the border and for their return transportation.  No refunds will be provided by TRIPSETTER.  The entry to another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documentary are complete as travel documentation is subject to change.

Gratuities

Are included in your price for meals, attractions and escort. Gratuity to the driver is left to your discretion and is always appreciated for a job well done.

Terms and Conditions

TRIPSETTER INC. has the right to cancel or make schedule changes to any tour as deemed necessary.
TRIPSETTER acts as an agent for arranging the components of the tour, including but not exclusively transportation, attractions and meals and shall neither be held responsible nor liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness or death that incurred on tour, nor resulting from any delays, substitution of equipment or attraction, any act, omission, negligence or any other fault of the suppliers, sub-agents or carriers providing services.
TRIPSETTER INC. is not responsible for any monetary expense, inconvenience or disappointment that may arise on a tour or caused from schedule changes.
TRIPSETTER INC. reserves the right to decline, dismiss or detain any person deemed detrimental to either themselves or to the group at any time, and such a person will be responsible for all costs to return to their home.

Responsibility of TRIPSETTER INC. acts solely as organizer of this tour and is responsible for making all reservations and charting the routes as outlined but it is expressly understood and agreed between the tour organizer and the passengers that TRIPSETTER INC. or its agents shall not be held responsible for:
a) non-performance on the part of any hotel or other accommodation for any act or omission that cannot be directly attributed to the neglect of the tour organizer
b) any delays, missed connections, loss, damage or injury to persons or property or for mechanical defects or failure, however caused for any substitution of hotels or carrier equipment beyond the control of the tour operator, or for any additional expenses occasioned thereby
c) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration whether physical or mental however caused, except where caused directly by the tour operator
d) any additional costs incurred or any ancillary loss sustained as a result of cancellations or delays of tour caused by inclement weather conditions, acts of God, or any other event, which result in one or more persons being unable to continue or complete the tour through no direct fault of the tour organizer.
The tour organizer reserves the right to make any changes before or during the tour for the comfort and enjoyment of the passengers and its agreed and understood that may increase in costs occasioned by such change shall be paid by the passengers. All tour itineraries are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.
TRIPSETTER INC. shall have no responsibilities beyond their refund of all monies paid by the passenger which is deemed to constitute full settlement. The tour organizer reserves the right to decline any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour should such person’s presence be considered detrimental to the interest, comfort and enjoyment of the other tour members. Persons leaving the tour during operation will not receive a refund or unused services.
TRIPSETTER INC., its agents and all passengers agree that the conditions set out herein are part of the terms between the passenger and the tour organizer. Acceptance of the ticket for the tour or any deposit given to the tour organizer will represent an acceptance by the passenger of all the aforementioned conditions.
